Financial Priorities

Even though spring in Colorado tends to look something like this:

colorado-snowIt was still time for me to change out my snow tires. Unfortunately at the beginning of the winter season I had to discard my summer/all-season tires because they were bald.

Maybe it’s because I’m not really a car aficionado, but buying new tires doesn’t exactly thrill me. When all was said and done, the bill was a little over $700.

I don’t know about you, but there are many other things I’d love to spend $700 on.

I’d love to splurge on some nights out at Frasca and Kevin Taylor’s at the Opera House.

And having an air conditioner for the house this summer might not be so bad.

Still, when all is said and done, I can at least enjoy some quiet, smooth drives to work through this beautiful country:
